“The Toughest 'Fun Ride' in Puget Sound”
Passport2Pain is generously supported by many Island businesses – and a few from off-Island as well.
We are asking for your sponsorship to help make the next P2P a success for the riders and for our community. Be part of a unique event that benefits our community and showcases Vashon at its finest. Cyclists, rowers and adventurers are an affluent and loyal demographic. P2P is an aspirational event that attracts more attention than just the number of registered rides. About half the riders are new each year, and 80 percent of them come from off-Island. Distinctive signs guide riders though each turn on the courses and prepare them for upcoming challenges.
Teams of volunteers greet riders at each of our 18 Checkpoints, the Sandwich Stop and the Finish area – all of which are sponsored – wearing costumes and providing comic relief as well as crucial rider support. Signs at each Checkpoint show the route, distance and vertical feet to the next stop. |

P2P Benefits Four Vashon Non-Profits.
It is the primary fundraiser for the Vashon Island Rowing Club, supporting our community rowing programs and providing financial aid for our Junior rowers. Members of the Rowing Club voted to put a large portion of the net proceeds of P2P toward the community's food, shelter and mental health through The Vashon Maury Island Community Food Bank, Vashon's Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness, and Vashon Youth & Family Services. P2P is a unique combination of intense physical challenge, fun, and camaraderie in a beautiful setting. It is a renowned event for cyclists and showcases Vashon at it’s best. We invite you to join our team of sponsors for Vashon's annual Passport2Pain. We're very open to combining opportunities to fit your preferences. We look forward to talking with you. Best regards, Zabette, Colby and 90+ other P2P volunteers |
