P2P Basics
The what, when, where, and how much of Passport2Pain. Read this before you register. Read it again before you ride.
What Is P2P?
Passport2Pain is an annual bike ride on Vashon Island, WA. It is not a race. It is a fundraiser. The distinction matters — riders who treat it like a race are encouraged to reconsider.
The ride starts at Jensen Point Park at 7 AM on September 12, 2026. You ride a course. You collect stamps at checkpoints. You end at the Devil's Taco Feast. This is the whole thing.
The Passport
You get a passport at registration. At each checkpoint, you get it stamped. Complete your course and you end at the Devil's Taco Feast at Jensen Point with everyone else who also did the hills.
Checkpoints
16 checkpoints across all courses. Each one has food, fluids, a volunteer with a stamp, and increasingly creative theming. Locations marked on course maps.
Wave Starts
Riders go out in small groups to keep the roads manageable. Don't sprint out of the gate. This isn't the Tour de France.
Clothing Drops
Drop layers at the start or along the course. We bring your clothes to the finish. Start warm, ride home in kit.
Ferry Shuttle
Add at registration. Runs from both ferry docks to Jensen Point and back. Eliminates car-on-ferry stress entirely.
The Taco Feast
Jensen Point, 1–6 PM. Catered by La Isla. This is not a consolation prize. The tacos are legitimately excellent.
Registration
Online via Red Podium. Closes September 11 at 6 PM. Day-of at Jensen Point gate. Cash only. You had months.
